Ugh, talk about a bummer! Mobile 5G is supposed to be faster than LTE, but it turns out that’s not always the case. In some areas, 5G is actually slower than LTE. Yikes! That’s a real letdown for those of us who were expecting lightning-fast speeds. Still, there are some places where 5G does live up to its promise and delivers the speed we were hoping for. So while it may be a bit of a mixed bag right now, here’s hoping that mobile 5G will eventually become the go-to choice for speedy connections!
Is T-Mobile 5G Slower Than Lte? [Solved]
Well, T-Mobile’s 5G service may be easier to find, but it ain’t no speed demon. In Chicago, its fastest 5G speed of 147.8 Mbps was way slower than Verizon’s and even slower than its own 4G LTE max of 235.5 Mbps. Bottom line: don’t expect too much from T-Mobile’s 5G service!
